Co-Founders

Dani Spinks

Dani began her journey as a Special Effects Makeup Artist for film and TV. She founded her theater company, Dreams on the Rocks, after working on a stage production of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Six months later, having fallen in love with the thrill of live theater, she wrote, directed, and produced her first stage production. Ten years later, her company, Dreams on the Rocks, is still creating queer theater. Support local, weird, queer theater!

Dani also designs sets and makes props for various companies in the Bay and teaches special effects makeup workshops. When not theatering, she studies 3D Character Animator and aspires to illustrate comic books.
