When Grief Moved In
When Grief Moved In is a collaboration between Bay Area artists inspiried by Hilary Buffum's poem of the same title. This event will consist of a two-part art piece an interactive art exhibit Descent , followed by a devised dance theatre piece. Descent, created and conceptualized by Sequoia Belk-Hurst, as a response piece to Buffum’s original poem, and serves as a ritual entryway into the performance. Join us in exploring our evolving relationship with grief.
In the interest of accessibilty and the health of the performers this is a mask required performance. The performance portion of the event will run approximately 40 minutes.
